LEGIT METHOD:
This is very easy to do in any game type regardless if it's online or not. In order to obtain this, you will need to camera focus (This is when you have control over that unit and it shows the unit in third person view) on your Riflemen or Engineers and move the crosshair to a barricade or guard rail and it should say "Cover", simply press A on it and they will take cover.
Somethings that require a worthy mention is that when you press A on that cover your units will take cover on the side you pressed A on, so if you want them to take cover behind the cover you need to press A behind the cover.
Certain cover have stronger defensive value than others and provide more coverage, the barricade surrounding the control points being the strongest, so it's best to take cover there since that's where enemy units tend to be.
Entering buildings does not count as cover, even though it is covering you from enemy fire.
Riflemen are only good at defeating Engineers and possibly Gunships but Engineers in cover easily becomes the best unit being able to defeat almost all vehicles with ease.
Although trees are cover your units will not fire from within that cover.
BOOSTING METHOD:
Simply load up a skirmish match and invite your friend to be in the opposing side. When the match begins call in as many riflemen as you can and have them take cover behind the control point barricade while your friend brings waves upon waves of engineers to their death. Using this method should take no longer than 30 minutes for each person. |
