This mission requires you to remain at low level, is timed, your main targets are a set of power generators, with some SEAD (anti-SAM/AA).
There is an "EMP" field which will kill you if you stray into it, you need to stay low, and be warned, there are some mountains that will protrude over the field, and you may need to judge if the risk of dying is worth a quicker kill on a node.
If you get caught by the patrolling fighters it's game over on the harder levels, so don't bother with multi-AA loadouts if you are playing at Elite level.
Best choice is anything fast, with Radar missiles, if you can get the Mig-25 or F-111 with these missiles, I'd use them, as they will be useful for engaging the SAM sites from outside their range.
Stay low, stay fast, use the Joint Strike Missile on the nodes, and as long as you avoid the enemy fighter patrols, you should finish this mission with at least a few minutes to spare. |

just a heads up to anyone; this achievement has glitched for me. when i first played it i was on elite difficulty and playing co-op. i blew up right before the end of the level and it never popped for me. i have replayed the level several times (solo and co-op and all difficulty levels) and it still has yet to pop for me. i have played through the game several times over and no matter what i do, it will not unlock. again, just a heads up to anyone playing it through co-op
EDIT: cleared cache and it still didnt work. cleared again and ran through mission and it popped! you may have to clear cache a time or two but it will work afterwards. |
