Brown and white eggs are dropped by random chickens and snakes and in some cases, Manjini, throughout the game. You can also find them in occassionally in loot. Or on "Chicken Island". (chapter 3-1, middle island)
Gold eggs I have only seen on "Chicken Island" in chapter 3-1. If I've found one elsewhere, I don't remember where I got it.
Rotten eggs drop randomly from chapters 4 on. I got two, from two random Manjini. Like I said, it's completely random, so just hope for the best.
Once you get an egg, put it into your storage until you have the others. Once you have them all in your inventory, the achievement should pop for you. If not, move them from your storage to your active slots. (That's what my friend had to do)

The easiest way to obtain all four types of eggs is to message a friend on xbox live that has all the eggs. If you message me I will hook you up as soon as i can -That505Guy on xbox live and I will give you all four eggs.=]
P.S. to get the achievement you must move the egg back into your inventory. |

The easiest way to obtain a golden egg is on the Chicken Island (the middle island) in Chapter 3-1 as mentioned above.
The lower your health the more likely the game is to give you a better egg. If you have a lot of health you will most likely get white eggs over brown, and if you have very little health you will be more likely to get a gold egg over brown. It seems the game's difficulty also help to determine what eggs are dropped. So you are more likely to obtain a golden egg if you play on amateur and with as little health as possible.
Just load Chapter 3-1 on Armature difficulty with your health in the red. When you shoot a chicken it should give you a golden egg. You can also check inside the house, I have found a few of them inside.
As weird as this seems it was taken out of the Official Resident Evil Strategy Guide. It worked for me. |

You start picking up eggs from chapter 1-2 onwards as there is a chicken on the roof of one of the buildings and I once got an egg from it. You can also get eggs on chapter 2-3 as a couple of the barrells in the mines contain snakes that you can shoot which will give you eggs.
But your best bet is chapter 3-1 chicken island. To find it look at your map. It is indicated by a little circle with a semi-circle underneath it on the right hand side.
Now the colour of the eggs dropped by the chickens is COMPLETELY RANDOM! Also it has NOTHING to do with your health bar whatsoever! I was doing some Rocket Launcher runs on Sunday night as there is a free 1 on chapter 3-1 and as I was doing that I thought I would go egg farming. So I was going there with FULL MAXED OUT HEALTH for both Chris and Sheva on the second run as I was picking up a BROWN egg Sheva was picking up a GOLDEN EGG! And I have had at least 4 more runs like that! Also DO NOT SHOOT THE CHICKENS! If you hang around they will lay eggs for you. So DO NOT listen to Big Zimms shit screwed up guide! He doesn't know what he is talking about!
As for rotten eggs they are dropped RANDOMLY from chapter 4-1 onwards. |
