When fighting Jill in chapter 5-3 it is best to get rid of Wesker quickly. To do this just shoot him with a Rocket launcher when he's not looking. Then shoot him after he catches the Rocket. He'll run off then.
Now that he's gone, you will be alone with Jill.
**!!**To get the acheievement both you and your partner must be involved, meaning your partner holds her while you remove the device.
Make sure you stay close to her so she does't pull out her guns but just out of her kicking range so you don't get hurt. Now use the "Entreat" contextual button to get her to spaz out from the device. make sure you grab her and your AI partner will then shoot the device.
*It doesn't matter the gun all the guns do the same 1,500 damage to it. Never attempt to shoot it yourself, because if you miss you hit her and you have to start over, your AI partner never misses.
After 6 shots the device will have 9,000 damge of its 10,000 total. For the final attempt when she spazzes out, don't grab her let your partner do it, and then run up and start pressing "A" like a mad man. each press causes 30 damage.
So that means you need to press the button 34 times and Jill will be released and you will earn the achievement.
*OH one more thing, grab the Heart of Africa after you beat Wesker, it's at the bottom of the stairs right in the middle. it's worth a quick 10,000. |

I was able to get this achievement while playing co-op simply by not inflicting any damage to Jill while trying to take the mechanism off. We weren't going for the achievement so we didn't even attempt to shoot at the mechanism (trying it that way we killed her a couple of times so we thought we'd play it safe). After about 5 minutes we finally removed it and we got the achievement. That surprised me because I read before that you had to shoot the mechanism 5 times and then rip it off. Apparently you don't have to shoot it at all. This is good to know when playing the game with a friend and you want to go for the achievement.
By the way, we restrained her most the time but some of the time Sheiva did her take down move and then hunched above her and pulled on the mechanism while Jill was laying on the ground and that didn't have an affect on getting the achievement. |

To get his achievement, you must shoot the mechanism on Jill's chest five times. This is easily done by restraining her, and having your partner shoot the mechanism. After you have done this, you must wait for your partner to restrain Jill, and then pull the mechanism off of her chest.
Note, your partner must be restraining Jill while you pull the mechanism off, otherwise it will not unlock. |

This achievement can be unlocked in Chapter 5-3 of the campaign.
At the end of the level you will encounter Wesker and Jill. You can get rid of Wesker by a) waiting him out for 7 minutes while running and hiding or b) shooting a rocket at him while his back is turned causing him to catch the rocket, then shooting the rocket. When he has left, you must deal with Jill.
You defeat Jill by removing the red device from her chest. To remove it, you must get close to her and hit 'X' to talk to her when prompted. After a few tries (# seemed to vary for me), this will cause the device to spazz out and you can walk up behind her and restrain her with 'X'. While restrained, your partner can either shoot the device or try and pull it off. NOTE: The AI will ALWAYS shoot and NEVER miss. If YOU miss and hit Jill, she is dead and you start over.
The most IMPORTANT thing to remember here is that you must remove the device when Jill is STANDING. It will not unlock if you throw her to the ground and pull it off when on top of her. I did that about 5 times with no achievement before reading up on it. SHE MUST BE STANDING.
If you choose to shoot the device, you should shoot it 6 times, then revert to pulling it off . It does not matter who pulls it off. I unlocked the achievement on two accounts with a different character pulling it each time.
Once the device is off, the achievement will unlock in-game.
Be careful not to let Jill get too far away as she will break out her guns. Don't get to close to her as her kick is very harmful. Just stay in range enough to 'Entreat' her with 'X'.
