Sign in a second controller. Go to Sorry! Sliders and then Custom Game. Turn off the AI and KO penalties. Play in the Instant Home category. If you hit the center 5 then that pawn will automatically go home. You should be able to hit it pretty easy with a good flick of the joystick. On your second controller just flick it lightly to send their pieces only halfway down the track and not even onto the board.
