It's impossible to guarantee potting the 9-ball off the break in this game, just like it is in real life. In fact, the physics in this game are so good, the odds of doing are about the same.
To give yourself the best chance:
• Position the cue ball as far forward as possible, 6-9 inches from the side cushion (whichever side you prefer). • Set full top spin • Set full power • Hit the 1 ball full in the face
If you did it right, the 9 ball should drift towards the corner pocket. If you're lucky, it'll drop in.
I've been playing 9-ball pool about 15 years, and I would say I get a break ace about once in every 40 or 50 breaks. It's about the same for this game, so just keep trying. Good luck! |

The way i got this achievement was to put the cue ball as far right or left of the baulk line as possible then hit the 1 ball as thin as you can so you virtually hit the ball next to it full ball but still hit the 1 ball first, use full power and full topspin and the balls will scatter everywhere including the 9 ball which greatly increases the chance of it ending up in a pocket. It took me only 3 attempts at this before the 9 ball sunk in the middle pocket for the achievement! Good Luck. |
