My strategy was going to Episode 2 with the settings Easy, Barrier 5, Enemies On (You can set to off, but I recommend enemies to beat level 10, so if you plan to keep going...).
Get to level 6. It should be a giant bubble-bobble guy. Try to start at the right 1/2 of the blocks looking for a laser. If you find a laser, continue to destroy the right 1/2 and left 1/4 of the board looking for the upgrade. If you don't get it, let the ball kill the barrier and continue.
Avoid mega balls, exit warps, vanish tiles, and division multi ball power ups. The secret is the fact that you can continue if you don't get the powerups. |

Chapter 1, Level 2.
Take out a grey doublehit brick. Pick away at individual normal blocks and wait for an 'L' (laser) powerup. Continue until you get another and this will enable a Power Laser. Then head to the left and take out the largest column of bricks.
Obviously this requires a heap of luck but you can improve your odds slightly by going to 'Barrier' mode and making sure you let that barrier handle the ball if an 'L' comes down.
If you do break the normal brick on the right, this is okay as most of the time the ball will bounce back before it hits the left-side column.
I did mention this requires a heap of luck, right? ;) |
