Ok first things first: Score Attack sucks. It is incredibly difficult and the final boss (Unlimited Ragna) is disgustingly cheap.

First a second controller is a MUST. As mentioned before, pressing START on this controller when things look grim will reset the current battle after beating the 2nd player.

Second I would most assuredly discourage using Jin. His "Ride the Icening" attack does well to get to the final boss, but is ultimately useless against Ragna. The character you need is Iron Tager. His right stick UP is key to the battle. I have included a link to the guide I used (thanks to Ramiel).
