Since Ray can stand more damage using him should make it easier. Most important thing is being behind barrels and using cover system as much as possible. Only hard part may be the duels but remember that music stops about 2 seconds before draw and in that time do a side step so enemy will do the same thing while you kill him. Also forget doing quests in chapters VI and VIII because you can do them later on easier difficulty without stress.
