The way i have done these video Guides
in the videos you will see me go from point A to B with each collectibles that means after i pick up the last gold bar or intel or tome, i will start from that last location so you wont get lost
there is some points where i could not go back, so thats when you hear me start talking in the video to show you where abouts i am
also i have put the videos in order you should get them collectibles, so you wont miss nothing!!! as i said in mission 7 Castle DONT DO THE NEXT MISSION!!!!!

The safest way to do this is by completeing all missions 100% up to the castle then, going back and doing the downtowns and Midtowns just to save a little confusion. thee only one you should get in the midtown area is the gold bar after completing Paranormal base, so you dont have to play that mission again. also sometimes it wont show up in your replay missions menu, this happened to me about 3 times! so play it safe and fallow all vidoe/maps as close as possible.

get the guide book. it has all locations mapped plus photos and descriptions. if you miss a gold in a mission, simply replay that mission. i would not try this on the uber difficulty speed run. just start a new game, and play on easy. however if you are elite, you CAN do this in under 12 hrs. i did not follow the guide at first so i had to spend about 2 hrs looking for 1 missing gold in midtown. i still beat the game in only 13.5 hrs.
tips for finding gold:
look behind crates and in corners
look under stairs
usually at least 1 gold in each sewer entrance
look in cabinets
look for ways onto the roofs in midtown
whenever you are in a room with rafters and crates, try to find a way up to the rafters. gold is hidden here many times.
look next to equipment. if there is a little gap next to equipment, it probably has gold.
look for veil ladders and doors. they usually lead to gold.
ladders. sometimes real ladders (not veil) are hard to see. i missed one area due to not seeing a ladder on a fire escape.
look for pipes or ledges that lead to 'secret' areas.
the hardest to find imo:
- start of castle, go to the right around a hidden path to a gold figure.
- midtown near ss headquarters to the south west (same courtyard) you must jump from a balcony to a rafter holding a gold bar.
- midtown from the kreseau safehouse in the middle of town, go out the door, go right up the stairs and look for roof access at the top of the stairs. continue north on the roof, jump a gap to the next roof, then drop down to a previously locked area with a gold.
- when leaving the paranormal base, you will be on the roof. look under the stairs to find a gold bar. if you miss this one, you must replay the mission as you cant get back onto the roof.
- airfield start in the warehouse, there is a gold below the truck under the car lift, but there is also a gold ABOVE the truck on the pipes. you must walk the pipes from the upper catwalk. |
