The only way to get this achievement is to be playing in a 4-player band (guitar, drums, vocals, and bass), successfully complete a band moment, and then try to have each player up to a 4x multiplier AND at least a half bar of star power, then after (or before, I don't believe it matters) the band moment, all 4 members deploy star power.

Sounds really complicated, but it's actually a bit more simple than that. Not much, but a bit.

Basically, set up your band with all four unique instruments being used and select your respective difficulties.

Then, simply play a song and hold on to your star power until the band moment comes. All four activate, pop.

I don't recall which song I ended up getting this achievement on, but what I do know is if you're having problems (or your bandmates are) keeping a 4x multiplier, drop down in difficulty.

mDoolin14We got this on Song 2 by Blur (the shortest song in the game) but we had to wait until the second band moment because the bass can't get star power before the first

    NighthawkJoVTwo things to note:

1> If you only have 3 people you can have a fan blowing into a mic for vocals on beginner and that same person playing bass on beginner. Since you only have to strum on bass you can put your other hand on the vocal controller to deploy star power.

2> There appears to be a bug where if you haven't received this yet:

Guitar Hero 5Our Powers CombinedThe Our Powers Combined achievement in Guitar Hero 5 worth 37 pointsAs a 4 player standard band, all 4 players activate Star Power simultaneously

Then Crank It Up To 11 won't pop, but the above will instead. So, you'll have to get Our Powers Combined and then play again for this achievement.

bryan dot exeFeel Good Inc worked well. There is one band moment at the very start of the song (obviously unsuitable) and another close to the end.

Make sure you play in a standard band (drum, guitar, bass & vocals). Difficulty doesn't matter & activate star power AFTER the bandmoment & when all players have a 4x multiplier already.
