I will give props to Exit Bloom, as he got me on the right track, but I think I can make things a little quicker...

Mission 1 - Dragon Rising, is the place to do this solo.

I did not even bother to the clear the western SAM site. Once the first objective radar is out in the south, and the village mostly cleared (via arty strike), I boosted a jeep (on the road near the entrance to the village), cleared the LZ, and then just drove to the beach west of the western SAM site (you should get a checkpoint along the way - helpful when you mess up). This is were the helicopter is. I did not bother trying to clear this SAM site, as this gave me my targets close to the helicopter...

Once in the pilot seat, I only needed to go up a bit (up on RS), turn 90 degress to the right (right on RS - still holding up on RS) so I am facing east and then plowed into the gunners (up on LS) at the top of the small hill directly off the beach (a bit to the left of the bunker). No need to fly all the way to the northern objective (lighthouse).

Took a couple tries (literally two), but no real trouble. The checkpoint along the way spawns you back in the jeep just 10 or 15 seconds from the beach... A great location for a second (or third) try.

Note: Before you beach your Jeep, set your RoE to "Hold Fire" as you don't want your overzealous squad taking out any potential targets.
