Earning 500 kills shoudn't take much time and will likely happen within the first two chapters of the game.
Kills will count across all playthroughs and also if you die and replay an area. That means if you save just before an area with a lot of weak enemies, kill them quickly, die and reload, you should be able to earn many kills in a short period of time.
Unfortunately, there is no way to check your progress on this achievement. |
