Solution for 200,000 points solo on easy. Can be used on any firefight map.

Priority #1: Get a gravity hammer.
Priority #2: Keep gravity hammer.

Points will come pretty slow until you get a gravity hammer, but once you get it you will rake in the points at over 3000 per minute. Use rockets or plasma cannon to kill the first Brute Chieftan. Take his hammer. They usually come in 3's so use it to kill the other two. Then trade for a newer one. I like to keep the hammer and plasma cannon.

Now here's how you bring in the points. Melee with the hammer until you get a hammer spree (5 kill streak - worth about 1000 points) and a dreamcrusher (10 kill streak - worth about 2500 points). Switch to your second weapon and melee one enemy or use a grenade. Then melee with the hammer until you get the 5 and 10 kill streaks again. Repeat. Only use the hammer energy against Brute Chieftans and only use the plasma cannon ammo against Hunters. Collect/trade ammo or a new hammer as needed. If you get killed try to get back to where you were killed and pick up your two weapons as fast as possible. If they were out of ammo they will disappear. Another reason it's good to only melee with them until it is absolutely necessary to use their ammo. Also, during the "black eye" rounds, this melee tactic will bring back your shield. It's a win-win.

I've also noticed that plasma (sticky) grenades turn into land mines when they are laying around when grunts go crazy throwing grenades. Thats usually how I ended up dying. Try to avoid moving through areas where you've killed a lot of grunts or pick them up quickly, especially when your shield is down.

So far I've completed 6 of the 8 firefights solo on easy in under 2 hours each on the first try.
