Select Yearbook from the main menu and fulfill the winning conditions to get gold in each mission (required for the achievements) and some cash (helpful in the beginning of your career, as you can use that cash for car upgrades).

Here are some tipps for every challenge. Please note that there is no difficulty setting in Yearbook-missions and all car damage is turned ON.

1961 - A.J. Foyt Wins The 500. (Finish 1st):
You have to drive into the pit, as soon as the race starts. To make it easier for you, de-select 'Change tires' and just fill your fuel 1/4. This way the pit stop shouldn't take longer than 2-3 seconds. Eddie Sachs (the driver on first place) will pit last lap, too.

1961 - The Rookie Test. (3+ successful laps):
You have to drive an increasing average speed for each lap, by staying in the green area of the Guide Bar in the top right corner of the screen. Pretty easy on Indianapolis. Go full speed first and slow down if you're too fast. You will drive 4 laps, so you can screw one up.

1962 - Parnelli Puts it on Pole (150mph+ avg):
The most difficult challenge within the game. Tipp for completionists: Do this first, as you will not unlock any other achievement if you don't beat the requirement. This one is VERY difficult, even for racing pro's, because the car is utter shit. You will definitively NOT get this within your first few tries, so try it again and again and you will see, that you will get better, as you learn how the car handles. Here's some stuff, that might help you:
-Change the control method to C (within the settings in the main menu) - this way you will accelerate with the cn_A button. I found it easier this way, don't ask me why.
-Next thing: You should change the camera (cn_Y button) to bumper view, so you have a clear view on your front wheels and the wall on the right side.
-Third point: Do NOT brake! When driving INTO the 1st and 3rd corner, keep your finger off the acc-button for a moment and accelerate again when leaving the corner. If you drive the 2nd and 4th corner good enough, you can even keep your finger on the gas.
-It might help to use a steering wheel, but i did it with a controller, as i don't have a wheel. It's possible without it - i finished with 150.01 (!!!) mph.

1962 - Consistency is King. (8 good laps):
Drive consistent laps of 106-111mph. Basically the same stuff as in '1961 - The Rookie Test'. You can screw 2 laps, as you will drive 10, but only need 8 good laps.

1963 - Parnelli Brings It Home. (Finish 1st):
Your engine is smoking (slightly decreased top speed). You start at 1st and have to stay there for 6 rounds. As you're a good 10 seconds ahead of the field, this should be no problem.

1963 - Pack Racing (Finish 1st):
A little more difficult. You have to go from 11th place to 1st within 4 laps on Trenton Raceway. Go full speed from the beginning and overtake whereever you can (not only on straights).

1964 - Chassis Dance. (152.5 + 154.5mph+ avg):
Stay in the green area of the Guide Bar. This time you have to beat 152.5 in the first round and 154.5 in the second with a different car, so go as fast as you can. Use the tipps from '1962 - Parnelli Puts It On Pole!'.

1964 - The Old Guard. (Lose No Position):
You will drive a lonely Roadster and have to defend your position against better rear-engine cars. No big problem, as there are only 5 laps.

1965 - You Shall Not Pass! (Finish 1st):
Another defensive challenge, this time in Langhorne, but other than that there's no real difference to the mission above this one.

1965 - Man vs Machine. (Finish 1st):
Your brakes are damaged and you drive 6 laps on Riverside, starting on position 2. Overtake the first racer directly after the first corner by driving on grass, if you have to. Break a little earlier in tight corners and watch out for the outer walls.

1966 - Last Of The Roadsters. (160mph+ avg):
Front engine car. Same stuff as in the most difficult challenge '1962 - Parnelli Puts It On Pole!', but this time with a better car. I managed an avg speed of 160.07 first try. If you have trouble, look for hints in the 1962-challenge.

1966 - Ah Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! (Finish 1st):
This time your suspension is damaged and you're required to pit in the first round (use the same pit-strategy as in the first challenge). 4 laps to go. 2 rivals do pit, too. I don't like that track, but very doable.

1967 - What Could Have Been (Finish 1st):
Gearbox damaged this time. Stay in guide bar (in other words: do not drive too fast). You start way ahead of the 2nd place, but you have to let some cars overtake, that you've lapped before. Stay within the beginning of the red area of the guide bar and you're good to go.

1967 - Go For The Pole! (126mph+ avg):
Full qualification round, 2 laps. Langhorne. Not as easy as it sounds. Stay alway on the left side of the track. When driving a good round, you can go full throttle short before the finishing line, even if you're sliding towards the wall afterwards.

1968 - A Race Recovered. (Finish 1st):
Trenton, with 2 laps remaining. You spun off the track, because of oil on the track. The corner where you start the race seems still slippery, so be cautious there.

1968 - A Roadster Returns! (Overtake 6+ Cars):
VERY annoying challenge. You drive a slow front-engine car, starting on last position. Now you have to overtake at least 6 cars and survive for 8 rounds. The "surviving"-part is the problem here, because the other drivers sometimes seem to drive a round of Destruction Derby, where you are the wreck at the end. Drive with standard-cam, so you can see when someone is beside you.

1969 - Beating The Odds. (Finish 3rd+):
You start on 9th position and drive 8 laps on Indianapolis. Again, your car is damaged and your handling is poor. Use all the Indianapols-hints above and you should succeed with ease.

1970 - Kenyon Wows The Crowds! (Finish 16th+):
Indianapolis again, starting on 22nd place, 10 laps to go. Very easy - i became winner on 1st try.

1970 - Rookie Year. (Overtake 5+ Cars):
Almost the same as the challenge above. 10 laps, starting at 15th, Indianapolis.

1971 - Lightning Strikes! (Finish 1st):
The last 2 challenges are easy as pie, because you drive some nice fast cars. Complete 11 laps in Indianapolis, starting at 3rd position.

1971 - Grit And Determination. (Finish 1st):
Easy again and almost the same as the challenge before. With one exception : You need to maintain 2nd place until Unser pits, than stay first for the last 2 rounds.
