This achievement is relatively easy to unlock. You must find a full four person band. I recommend that at least half of the band has to be on hard or higher. If it is difficult to find a person online with a mic, just plug your mic in, set it to beginner, and have it pool all the star power for you. |

Confirmed four instruments required. We got 800k+ with three in both band career and quickplay, but it didn't pop until we hooked up all four.
Can be done with only two 'real' players. We had one on drums and one on guitar:
Drums: hard
Guitar: medium
Bass: beginner
Vox: beginner
Lay the bass down flat so it doesn't auto-launch. Put the mic in front of a fan and the mic's controller on the floor under the guitarist's foot for easy toe launches.
As for the path, we used a general strategy of launching drums/guitar/vox simultaneously when there were at least 4 lights of starpower available, and preferably during a chorus. Having one person yell "Launch!" is extremely helpful.
Also, designate one player to keep an eye on the bassist's rock meter. That player should occasionally launch by themselves to keep bass from failing out.
You can get well over 800k this way, with only the fan FCing the song. The cheevo pops at the results screen and all signed-in players get it.
