The battle of Oldfox Canyon begins when Juto takes the Southern Forces Karma to attack Oldfox Canyon after defeating the Werewolf boss. Make sure you've unlocked Zephie's skill to heal Fever, and keep her a part of your team the entire time.

There's a Quest to do first, which involves escorting a Southern Forces Commander to an obstacle. There are few enemies in your way, and most of them fall withinh a minute anyway, so just follow him along until you reach the obstacle. Remember to keep him alive. You can now use the Fire Crystal Bombs you received from the Nekoneko (you can't progress the story without completing that quest) to blow the obstacle.

There are two paths to take, but they both lead to the same end so go whichever way you like. There are enemies as well as spawn points, so hang make sure you destroy everything you can. The spawn points can be anything from vehicles to houses, so look closely for targeting reticules. You'll soon reach...

The Gate of Wailing! This is much easier than you'd think. If you haven't read the Cube-mail, do so now. Avoid the large circles that appear on the ground, or you'll take damage from arrows. The small circles are where the bombs will drop, so run up as Juto and use Kick to attack the gate. After Juto's kicked one, the barrier on the gate will disappear. Switch to Crocell and attack the gate from afar. Be careful, though, as once the barrier reappears, make sure Juto is away from the door, or he'll get hit by spears.

(You can't die from the spears, but if Juto gets hit too many times you'll have to waste a Cure Seed or Wind Kan with Zephie to heal him.)

Head through the now destroyed gate through the path to meet up with Sion Regral. Take out as many of the enemies beforehand as you can to try and level up. That will also stop them from attacking you during the boss battle. Sion Regral isn't really that difficult, and neither are the two Ignis Wizards that accompany him. Keep Zephie in the party to heal, and get in as many Chain Breaks as possible with the other two party members. Sion Regral will fall with very little effort.

There's not much left to this battle, so run along the pathway until you meet up with Claire. She'll evade you for a few moments, and then...BOSS BATTLE!

This is your first view of a Sentinel, but it's not as difficult as it seems. Crocell tends to do a lot of damage, so work on your Chains Breaks between him and Juto/Argo. Zephie should still be there to heal/cure fever, so let the AI take care of her.

Astaroth (the Sentinel) has a few attacks, but none of them do any real damage. The only thing you really need to be aware of is his nasty tendency to regen between 650-700 HP every now and then while also immobilizing one of your party members. Other than that, hammer away.

You'll have to destroy his body first, followed by each hand sepately, and then finally his head. You have a great big empty space to fight in, though, and Astaroth is really easy to hit. This battle should only take ten minutes or so, especially if you've been doing Quests and leveling up regularly. After Astaroth falls, there'll be a short scene and the Achievement will pop. Good luck!
