You unlock this achievement after killing Strass
Tips for defeating the boss:
It honestly doesn't matter which characters you use for the first phase, as long as you make sure to have at least one healer (Zephie or Celestine) alive at all times. Before you can damage Strass himself, you have to destroy his hands. They don't take too many hits, but if you don't take them out fast they can wipe out your entire party. When Strass lowers himself into the arena, use Argo's axe style to hit him with Armor Break ASAP. This isn't to make it easier for you, this is completely necessary, because Strass regenerates his hands after a short time, and when he does, he restores around 1/3 of his health. Destroy his hands again and hit him as hard as you can by using attacks like Omni Slice, Howling Edge, and Celestial Crusher while in Overdrive. After Strass regenerates his hands twice (the third time in all you try to attack them), he repeatedly throws a giant ball of energy at you, which kills your party in two hits, ending the battle. It's incredibly frustrating, but if you keep at it, you'll get it after a few tries. |
