Story Related. Located in the Chapter 14 Conclusion.
Another easy fight. Simply remove the gnomes and rats from the table while avoiding his beer mug. Eventually he will slam his hand down on the table. Attack it to get his attention. After this, he will try to capture you in his mug. If you are able to avoid the mug, he will still think he caught you. Upon noticing he hasn't, he will slam his fist on the table and you attack it again. Once you have hurt him enough, he will finish his mug of ale and belch. This causes his wife to throw an item at him and knock him out.
His head will land on the table, jump onto his beard and timing his inhales and exhales run to the left and jump onto the juicer. From the juicer, jump onto the books to the left and up to the harp. Hit the harp until it cracks the juicer and rinse and repeat as necessary. |

Here is a video on how to defeat father giant and getting the achievement at the end for beating him and completing the chapter (14).
The person who made this video had no idea what he was doing so he wasted the first 3-4 mins. But your actually meant to hit to harp when the giant is passed out on the table. He eventually realizes that....
