Everything Star killer says is good but i did try to switch my charcters to the X-men right before i defeated Magneto and I still got the achievement.

To sum it up play through the "Overload" Simulator with the charcters you choose. I choose Thor, Wolverine, Jean Grey and Iron Fist. When you get Magneto down to the last few hits go change your team members to all X-men. Make sure it says it up in the corner. Once you have your team finish him off and the achievement is yours
