A Wicked Weave attack is one that summons one of those comically large arms or legs to deal damage to your foes.
The Dodge Offset is the first ability listed in the 'Special Techniques' section of the 'Tome of Umbran Arts' (in the menu). It allows you to dodge without breaking a combo if you press the right trigger while holding an attack button.
I found that the easiest way to pull off a Wicked Weave attack while using Dodge Offset was to start a combo, hold one of the buttons so Bayonetta begins firing her guns, dodge while holding the button, and then continue the combo.
The quickest combo is probably YBY done with only the guns equipped (I held the first Y). These combos don't need to be done in the presence of enemies, so just find an empty spot and go for it! |

When you're in an area with no enemies, press Y to extract guns. Then start with the combo YBY, interrupting it in the middle by the Dodge Offset (ie: keep one of the attack buttons down wile strafing with RT), and than completing the combo to the end...
Down to earth. Press Y, then B holding it down (Bayonetta should start firing), now add RT to the combo (so in this very moment you should have B+RT). Let go all the buttons and press Y alone. Here it is!
If the achievements doesn't unlock, you should do it faster... :-) |
