For this achievement you must complete 53 of the 56 ambient freeplay events in Saarbrucken. Saarbrucken is the the very top right section of the map, this section will never regain color as it is in Germany.
There is only one entrance and that is through a huge gate, you will need to push the button (with Y) to open the gate and get inside.
I suggest leaving this until last, but its up to you.
Be careful up here with your explosives, make sure you have max Dynamite and RX as well as the Panzershrek rocket launcher with you. This is because there is no weapon dealer or headquarters nearby, so if you die or run out of explosives you will have to travel a good distance for more or if you die.
There are a lot of car jump events in Saarbrucken, so make you bring some sort of race car with you, as they don't give you much starting room so you will need a fast car to make some of the jumps.
Also its best to have the gold perk on Demolitions, as this will let you be able to sabotage while disguised without raising alarm. Doing this will allow you to bypass a lot of fighting by letting you bomb anything as long as you are disguised.
Overall as long as you don't need a return trip this should only take 45-60 minutes. |

Saarbrucken is they permanent grey area to the extreme North East of the map.
To get in there is a button on the gate, complete 53 of the 56 events in the area to unlock the achievement.
Be aware there is now weapon dealer in this area so you need to make your dynamite and RDX count or you'll need a return trip. |

| Just and added extra to what has been mentioned above with regards to resupplying, it is possible to upgrade your getaway car (getaway strike?) so that when you call it in, the resistance member who brings it also has a facility in which you can but ammo etc. |

Credit to Tyger7 and ShazamFTW on Xbox360achievements.com for this glitch. Check http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php.....
** small spoilers **
The last mission sends you to the Eiffel tower. DO NOT complete it. Take the two elevators up to the third floor, then take them right back down. The Nazis will now ignore you (unless you melee them). You can destroy at will. See link for full details.
Some hints before embarking...
1) Save often, in duplicate slots. When you die, the game keeps your progress and you just reset the glitch, but if you shut off your machine, you will lose progress without a save to go back to. Also, the game seems to revert to the last autosave when you reboot, meaning, always reload your last manual save. Check your map often to ensure you are working on the right save. If dots re-appear, go back to another save.
2) Every time you "reset" the glitch, you will want to rearm yourself with the Panzerfast and the other explosive weapon ??. If you can have these weapons and ammo before accepting the last mission from Bishop. You can save some time. Not sure if there is a break to allow this.
3) If you have to call a car with shopkeeper, do it in a quiet area as the Nazis cannot stay away form this guy and he also runs for them. It makes shopping difficult. Hitting "Y" is like a QTE with him anyway.
4) Before accepting the mission from Bishop, be sure to have your best vehicle set as your getaway car. Otherwise, the junker shows up. (Mine reverted back to Junker eventually anyway for some reason).
That's it. Happy Saboteuring. |
