You can get this achievement in Broken Valley, or in your dragon tower workshop.
In Broken Valley, you will encounter a man with a large machine that requires red ore to operate. If you've been harvesting the rock patches you've found underground, you'll probably have some red ore with you; if not, the man will send you for some.
Once you have red ore, activate the machine with the left bumper. To enchant an item, select it from the list that pops up and then choose what gem or jewel you want to enchant it with. Jewels and gems can be found throughout the game, so you'll have plenty of them by this point.
As soon as you enchant an item, the achievement will unlock. |

| To the northwest of the tower in the middle of Broken Valley there is an enchanter by the name of Draeven. If you have an item with an open enchantment slot and the necessary materials he will enchant that item. |
