You first start to encounter Heretics in Heresy. (go figure) They are the tall guys with purple orb over their head. You'll fight over 5 just in Heresy (I think) so there will be no problem killing them. Just remember that whilst they are around they "corrupt" other enemies and they they have the purple orbs over their head. Killing them does'nt count towards the achievement.

Heretics are the tall guys with a purple symbol over there head, you encounter quite a few so killing 5 is not hard.
