This achievement requires paid content.
To earn this achievement, you must unlock 3 medals cumulatively in Game Room. Each medal is only counted once. If you unlock the Bronze Time Spender, and then unlock the Silver Time Spender, that is still only one medal.
Medals can only be earned in ranked play, and in games that you either own, are purchasing sessions with using the 40 MS point option, or on games that your console is licensed to (i.e. Someone else bought that game on your console). Medals can NOT be earned in demo play, classic play, or if you are using tokens to play a friend's machine.
There are three medal varieties:
Point Buster : These medals are awarded when you reach certain score targets.
Survivalist : These medals are awarded for surviving a set amount of time in a single play.
Time Spender : These medals are awarded for cumulative game play.
Every game has a Time Spender medal. Note that Time Spender medals can be earned in ranked or classic play, and are cumulative between game sessions. Most games also have a Point Buster and Survivalist medal. Medals "upgrade" as you progress. What this means is that if you have a Bronze medal and suddenly earn a Silver medal, you only have a Silver Medal. This will only count as 1 medal. Bronze, silver, and gold medals all count.

If you can stomach it, the easiest and cheapest way to get this achievement is by playing the game Laser Blast. Play the demo first to get the hang of how the game controls and plays. The game is extremely easy and if you play the demo until it expires and then play the game on the "Buy Single Session" option you can get at least Bronze in all three medals if you can survive for 20 minutes in that single game. However, if you fail, you'll have to buy another play session. |

For this achievement play PITFALL, it's easy to do the 3 medals in this game.
Grab the first gold bullion = the point busters medal is yours.
For the survivalist and the time spender medals = go in a safe area and just stay here, move sometimes but don't go in an other area.
The 3 medals can be done in 1 session.
the only difficulty of this game is pass the crocodile, just jump on their head, you must be on their eyes when he opens his mouth to keep you from falling.
With this method you can also unlock medal variety achievement |

Most games have 3 medals, some only have one. You only need 3 bronzes for this achieve but you may as well take the golds since it's so easy.....
Buy Crystal Castles and start a ranked game ~
~On first screen go to the back of the play area in the corner and you will find a secret jump spot. Press A to jump here and you will immediately get your gold medal out of the way ;)
~ The hardest part is Surviving 6 minutes. For this you need to start a new game, wait til all 3 enemies have come around the corner, then run around to the jump spot and sit there. When the hornets come down about the 5th time they will try to land on you. Run around in a big circle til they get you.Do this 3 times and on the last time use your jump point. Go to the left elevator and go up and wait. Do this again for your extra life and you should just manage 6 minutes.
~ Now just repeat the above til you have 3 shiny golds ;) |

Each game has 3 types of medals you can get but you can only get medals by playing the game in ever rank or classic as show below...
Point Buster = Rank Game only.
Survivalist = Rank Game only.
Time Spender = classic or rank.
Each medal type can be ever bronze, silver or gold but it dosent matter what type you get aslong as you just get one of each, so just one game is needed for this achievement.... |

all you need for this is one single play of Thunder Castle.
avoid the dragon (you can kill it--don't do that if you can help it but the yellow isn't hard to avoid either the bats make you invincible and allow you to kill the dragon so just remember that if you collect a bat) and collect all items except the comb (do not pick up the comb!).
25k/30min surv/90 min TS for the 3 gold medals. If you just want 3 medals the bronzes are 5k/10/30. |
