This achievement requires paid content.
To obtain this achievement, you need to unlock 10 Time Spender medals. Time spent playing the game is cumulative, so you do not have to do this in one play or even one day. Bronze, silver, and gold all count (Once per game)
This type of medal can be earned in ranked or classic play. It can only be earned in games that you either own, are purchasing sessions with using the 40 MS point option, or on games that your console is licensed to (i.e. Someone else bought that game on your console). Medals can NOT be earned in demo play, or if you are using tokens to play a friend's machine. An added note, time spent in demo and using tokens is counted, but if you go over the goal the medal itself will only unlock if you play it "for real" (purchased game or purchased a single play)

This achievement requires you get 10 time spender medals. You can obviously play the game for the alloted amount of time, but there is an alternate way. I suggest doing this after you've gotten the other two medals.
All you need is a turbo controller, I used a Hori X-2. All you do is enter classic mode (not ranked) and then turn turbo on for the left trigger (the rewind button). Then go to sleep, go to work, hang out with friends, jump off a cliff, whatever.
This will result in the game slowly rewinding as far back as it can go, and then it will move forward half a second and then rewind back, repeating it until you stop it. This will get you way more time then you need, but it will get you the medal, make it gold, and then give you time toward the time achievements (like matchstick eyes).
Achievement will unlock when you end the game and it shows you the medals you've won, assuming that was your 10th, anyway. |

There are 3 ways to earn Time Spender medals.
1. Play the games for hours on end.
2. Play games with safe zones and move the sticks once a minute to prevent a timeout.
3. You can rubber band the controller, to keep the left stick pointing down. This doesn't eliminate the timeout, but I found that this usually extended it to 3+ minutes before I had to move the stick to make the clock resume. This works best in games with safe zones, as mentioned above, because you can see the clock. With some games I got nearly 20 minutes before it timed out, but I found this to be inconsistent, even in the same game.
For games that don't have a safe zone, you can do the same thing in classic mode. Just go to the start screen (where it expects you to start the game) and leave it up with the rubber band in place. There is no onscreen countdown, as in ranked mode, so I backed out every 15 to 30 minutes to make sure I made progress, but I found that I could consistently get 3-4 minutes before I had to move the stick again.
I know this isn't a super awesome happy hour type of solution, but having a 3+ minute interval instead of 1 makes a huge difference. I didn't see this info posted anywhere else, so hopefully it helps someone out.

A simple solution ?
Well, launch ANY GAME in classic mode and... stay on the menu !
Yes, even on the menu, the clock is counting and you don't have to worry about losing in the game.
There still is the problem of the "one minute without playing", but as said before, you only have to move your stick every minute, or better, use a pad with a turbo option |
