once you finish all the story missions in new Austin and your team and the wagon with Gatling gun is ready, you will assault Fort Mercer where Bill is hiding out.
all you have to do kill all the bad guys and keep you and your team alive and the achievement will pop up when you finish the last cut scene. |

**SPOILERS**
The achievement is called Land of Opportunity and the description is to "complete the assault on Fort Mercer".
I believe that this is a story based achievement that is just unlocked after the completion of this particular mission. The mission happens just after you have completed all of the tasks for Nigel West Dicks, Irish, and Seth for the gatling gun. After all these missions are done, you will meet the Marshal near Fort Mercer to begin the mission. For the majority of the mission, you just mow down enemies in Fort Mercer with the gatling gun, and the mission is easy.
***MAJOR SPOILERS***
The achievement popped for me shortly after the two deputies found 1 straggler in the fort and the straggler tells you that Williamson has went to Mexico to talk to somebody named Javier. |
