Difficulty must be on Normal or above for all Reach Achievements.
This Achievement is extremely easy to obtain. During the second mission titled "Winter Contingency" there will only be one drivable vehicle that you can get into. The game indicates it with a waypoint, but ignore it if you want to get the achievement. If you're having problems, check out my Youtube video below.

On Winter Contingency there are a few vehicles you can ride in. There are various trucks and forklifts scattered throughout the level. Simply avoid all of these vehicles and run through the level.
Near the end of the level you will hear a distress signal and go defend a group of marines from a Covenant dropship. After you finish that fight a Falcon will land and take you somewhere else. If you have done it correctly then the achievement will pop as soon as the cutscene starts after you enter the Falcon.
Note that there is a forklift in the next area that is drivable and whether or not you drive it does NOT affect this achievement. |

| Play through mission 2 (Winter Contingency) without getting in a vehicle. it's as simple as it sounds, if your still confused here is a video by rabidkitty4.

On the second mission 'Winter Contingency' literally ignore all the cool looking vehicles you can use and walk/sprint the gaps in-between firefights and checkpoints and this achievement will be yours in no time!

| This Achivement is really simple, Start up the mission Winter Contingency on Normal make sure you start from Mission Start or you will not get the achievement, here is a video showing wut to do
