The "Crypt" is the second stage in the New Orleans, LA level. You need to kill 12 enemies by yourself. If you do this in Co-Op your team mate cannot be doing any killing. You need to have 12 kills by yourself without alerting anyone. This achievement will take a few runs to get. Below I'll describe the method I used however feeling out the level for yourself and determining your best course of action is best.

A few things to clarify...
- You can and should do this solo via Deniable Ops – Hunter.
- This is only for unarmed kills. You cannot use your execute ability to take out four enemies at a time. You need to position yourself behind an enemy and then perform an unarmed kill. If you use your weapon to kill them it will not mess up the achievement...unless you are using a non-silenced weapon.
- If you make an attempt and are discovered allow yourself to be killed. You will then restart at the beginning of this section. It will not mess up your achievement. You need to take out all twelve guys in one life.
- Pulling terrorists off of the ledge is works just fine, in fact I encourage these types of kills.
- If a dead enemy finds one of his fallen comrades it will not mess up the achievement. It just means that the remaining enemies will stick in teams which make obtaining this achievement more difficult.
- If an enemy sees you for a moment and if you are able to kill him before he alerts his comrades then you are still fine.
- You can use your EMP field disruptor.
- You cannot use any type of grenade.
- Your pistol MUST be a silenced pistol. If you were able to get this achievement using a non silenced pistol you are most likely a fool. You DO NOT want to alert your enemies. The Five Seven is the best IMO.

A few suggestions
- Use the Five-Seven. You can mark four targets with this gun.
- Don’t use your EMP field disruptor. If anything you’ll end up using this and mess up because you’ll jump into a very large group of guys which you won’t be able to take out.
- Move slowly and only focus around one person at a time. It’s best to let a guy go for a moment then taking a chance and getting spotted.
- Use your sonar and mark your enemies. You will be able to see where they are heading and stay clear from large groups.
- USE YOUR SONAR! It’s really cheap and guess what, you’ll need to use this every few moments to determine where your enemies are heading.

Going for the achievement.
When I made this run I was using the Five-Seven as well as the MP5-SD3. When you perform your hand to hand takedown you may fire a few rounds to kill the enemy. Therefore you cannot use the Desert Eagle because it will alert the enemies. The fully upgraded Five-Seven allows you to target four enemies at a single time, you will also have silencer so when you do your hand to hand takedowns you will not alert any guards with your kill. Don’t bother even equipping your primary weapon.

When you start off the match you’ll drop down into a room. There may be up to three enemies patrolling this area at the beginning of the game, however that is rare. Commonly there will be only one guard patrolling this area. His path most commonly takes him straight up the stairs close to another guard. I usually ignored this guy because his death will usually cause the guard close to him to investigate the disturbance. I suggest heading to the left over to the deep cavern. Be vigilant because there will be 1 to 3 enemies in this area from the hallway to the other end of the area. If an enemy is in the corridor, wait behind a pillar and then move behind him when he turns, take him out with a hand to hand.

There will be a guard patrolling this makeshift steel bridge. This is the ideal place to take out enemies since the guards won’t find the bodies. You may be able to pull down a maximum of four guys in this area. Most of the guards will only stick to certain areas unless they detect a disturbance. Once you clear this area move up the stairs on the other side of the room.

You’ll see a red flare in front of you. There will be two to four guys on the ground and at least two guys on the catwalks above. Follow your best feeling but taking out the enemies on the bottom first made it easier. Stalking the remaining 2 – 3 guys on the catwalk took a little bit of time.
Once you clear out this area you should’ve killed at least half of the enemies if not more.

The next section is going to be a bit more difficult. If you’ve been able to clear out the following areas there will be a large crypt that you will need to clear out. When you originally started the level it would’ve been on your left when you dropped down from the ceiling. At this point most of the enemies will be in two man teams. You will have to watch them but they will break away for a few moments. Now you’ll need to jump out and strike at one of them and run away. A guard will find his dead buddy and they will begin searching for you.

Hopefully you will have tagged all of them so you will be able to sneak around and kill a few. At this point you’re just stalking them and waiting for a moment to strike.

I also attached a few videos that ARE NOT mine. I just figured they would help you if you may be getting stuck. This worked best for me but maybe something different may help you.
If you have any questions or comments you can leave them below or send me a message.

EDIT: According to Indigo you can do this co-op and both get the achievement. I quote,

"I don't know if you can share the kills, but you can definitely BOTH get the achievement when one person gets all the kills..."

Unknown if that method works but worse case scenario it should work for one person ;)

Also if you think this solution is bad or sucks, please let me know what you didn’t like and I can make it a little easier to follow or maybe clarify something for you. If you are having an issue with it perhaps someone else is as well and just leaving a thumbs down is not helping anyone out.
Hopefully you’ll net this 30 GS achievement.
