This is a pretty easy achievement to get as long as you pay attention to the optional objectives and some other bits and pieces. Here are some pointers to help you down the Path of Corruption.

- Always take the time to do optional objectives that appear with a red Chaos Star and skull. Completion of these objectives will corrupt all deployed squads.

- Avoid objectives marked with a golden Seal of Honour as completion of these objectives will redeem all deployed squads, reducing their level of corruption.

- Some missions will warn you in advance on the mission briefing screen of additional corruption risks. This information is found in the bottom left corner of the briefing window under 'Bonus Intelligence'. This will usually be something along the lines of:

1. Allowing this mission to expire will corrupt all squads.

- or -

2. XXXXXX (insert Sergeant's name here) will be corrupted if he does not deploy to this mission.

- Some objectives are time based and take a long time to expire in order to gain corruption, so put your squads in an easily defensible location and go do something else for about 20 mins and you should gain corruption.

- You will notice that some of the Wargear you pick up will have either a red or gold border. Gear with a red border corrupts the user when used on a mission, and gold gear redeems the user.

- Read the descriptions of the gear carefully, some gear can be upgraded by donating it to the Librarium (e.g. the Blighted Boltgun), and can also increase corruption when donated.

- Some consumable items have been added to the game which can be donated for XP, redemption, or corruption.

- As your squads become more corrupt you will gain powerful Chaos abilities, such as temporary invulnerabilities, and the ability to resurrect your fallen squadmates using the power of the dark gods. Using these unlocked global abilities will further corrupt all deployed squads, so use them early and often.

Brother Captain Davian Thule:

In DoW II, Captain Thule dies in the service of the Emperor, and is resurrected as a Dreadnought. He is therefore uncorruptable, and will become unavailable to a fully corrupted Commander.
