This is not the only solution to this achievement. This is the way that I played it and how I got it. Of course I will provide links to alternative solutions at the end. I believe this is the solution that is probably the quickest as it skips missions that are not required for this achievement alone (SIE, CIA Listening Post) Guide

You Must Not Have Persuaded Him To Tell You About Brayko At The End Of Embassy Mission, You Must Meet Him In His Office With Championchik* For the "Meet Surkov" mission, it's possible to leave without being told by him that Brayko is responsible. If you don't learn this, then Brayko himself doesn't tell you it was really Surkov, and you don't get the extra mission.

It has been said though in some forums (according to a internal developer at obsidian) that Shaheed must live. So this may be another route but I did it by the method above and I have re-checked my last save to make 100% sure that I killed Shaheed at the beginning:

This is a quick rundown of how I played to get this achievement. There will be spoilers ahead.
Overarching strategies for the entire playthrough
If specific responses aren't noted, I used aggressive (Y button) to make everyone hate me. Use this strategy for emails as well to keep everyone hating you throughout the game.
I did this on easy difficulty, veteran background, operative specialization in shotguns, assault rifles, and toughness. All points into assault rifles, shotguns, toughness, and martial arts. I also put one point into sabotage to use EMPs on everything, and 5 into stealth for master awareness, just to know the odds and plan a strategy when running into a room full of enemies.
I played the entire campaign noisy and messy. No stealth, no taking cover, no secondary objectives, no hacking/lockpicking/bypassing that wasn't absolutely necessary (used EMPs on all of these I was forced to do). If it moved I killed it, civilians and enemy combatants alike. I ran directly from start to finish as fast as possible, and did not explore or pick up anything that wasn't directly on the way. I also purchased zero intel from the Clearing House.
This takes about 4 hours to complete the entire campaign. A lot of the missions become much smaller and shorter when you just run in guns blazing.
Mission breakdown
Locations and missions are listed in the order I completed them. If a mission is not listed, I ignored it.
Saudi Arabia:
Intercept Nasri -- Drew my gun at the gate, executed Nasri at the first opportunity
Jizan stockpile
Intercept Shaheed -- Executed Shaheed at the first opportunity, accused Mina of selling me out
Moscow:
Contact Grigori -- all suave (X button) responses
Assault Lazo's yacht -- executed Sis immediately
Intercept Surkov -- accept Albatross's offer to be your handler; walk up to the front door, first response aggressive, then attack him right away; all professional responses (B button) with Surkov
Contact Surkov -- all professional (B button) responses
Assault Brayko's mansion -- track Brayko; go after Albatross only (X button) then execute him immediately; attack Brayko during the initial conversation, then use suave (X button) until he gives up Surkov and execute him right after
Prevent Surkov's escape -- Attack Surkov immediately, and after killing Championchik, execute him immediately
Taipei:
Meet Steven Heck -- because you killed Albatross and did not meet SIE, Heck is the only remaining handler for the endgame. In addition, since everything Heck likes doing pisses everyone else off, go the opposite route with him and make Heck happy. Aggressive (Y button) responses for the first two, then suave (X button) for the rest
Retrieve NSB data at the hotel -- deleted Heck's data
Investigate warehouse -- bugged all 6 servers, they're all right on the way
Intercept assassination plans -- save data on the riots
Meet President Sung
Stop Omen Deng -- execute Deng immediately
Rome:
Intercept NSA intelligence -- execute the greasy proprietor immediately
Intercept Jibril Al-Bara -- shot only Al-Bara
Contact Halbech informant -- use all suave (X button) answers to make Marburg angry; use all professional (B button) responses with Madison
Contact Madison St James -- all suave (X button)
Marburg's villa -- Attack Marburg immediately; Madison as handler
Investigate ruins transmission -- all suave (X button) with Madison
Investigate warehouse -- boinked Madison afterward, but I don't think it makes a difference
Stop Marburg -- saved Madison (West wing); attack Marburg immediately when he appears; he will run away and not fight you to the death no matter what you do, since he doesn't hate you enough
Graybox:
Ignore meeting up with Scarlet and infiltrate Alpha Protocol directly
Heck as your handler (should be the only available one)
Punch Leland at your first opportunity
Aggressive responses (Y button) talking to Marburg
Don't contact Parker
Go to Mina, choose the option to leave her right off the bat
Kill Parker
Kill Darcy
Spare Leland, Scarlet shoots you, Heck automatically wastes Scarlet
You get another opportunity to execute Leland, do it immediately
Achievement! About damned time. |
