This is to complete the whole game on the Hardcore Difficulty. You can make this easier by completing the game first on casual, and doing a second play through on Hardcore. This is because you can start a new game with all the upgrades from the previous game.
But...there is no need. Hardcore isn't that difficult. There are a few tricky places, but provided you use cover, they are fairly easy to get past.
This cheeve pops during the final cutscene after defeating the final boss. |

This isn't really a solution as it is a fair warning: even if you beat the game on hardcore difficulty you are not guaranteed the achievement. Myself and others have played through the game on the proper difficulty only to not receive the achievement. There is no 100% fix for this but some have had it pop a few chapters in by starting another play through.
Of the 3 main achievement-related glitches, this one is the rarest but just be forewarned before playing. |

This achievements isn't that hard to get...
The game is pretty easy on hard difficulty except maybe 2 or 3 levels might be a bitch....some points you'll have to take your time...or sometimes you'll have to be quick and untouchable....i know this isnt much of a guide but better than nothing...there is one level that will have you fighting 3 archons at once timed.( Archons are big robot lizard thing you have that needs to be killed by shooting its legs until they weaken and it falls then jump on it and do a quick time event and it will be destroyed |
