On every level in the game the are secret areas. These can consist of hidden tunnels, hidden items, teleporters to new areas etc...
You need to find 50 to unlock the achievement which you should do by level 8 if you follow a guide!

Secrets you find do not have to add to the statistic, the only real criteria is that you dont use the level select function, once you start on 1 save stick to it throughout.
thanks to: Frags4Breakfast and AV8OR ACE for telling me you didnt have to do it in 1 sitting.
following galleyuk's videos helped tremedously...... the guy's a pro at the game if i say so myself. this link is to start you off on the path to success.
