This achievement needs to be done in "Quickplay+" and is obtained by earning all 42 stars on a single song. This means you will have to do the following:

    1. FC (100% without overstrums) the song on any instrument and any difficulty for 6 stars.
2.Complete all guitar challenges. There are normally 3 and you will need diamond on every one to acquire 9 more stars.
3.Complete all drum challenges. Normally 2 worth 6 stars and you will, again need to get diamond on them all.
4.Complete all vocals challenges. Normally 2 worth 6 stars. Need diamond on both for maximum stars.
5.Complete all bass challenges. Normally 2 worth 6 stars. Need diamond on them both.
6.Finally, you need to complete all the band challenges for the remaining 9 stars. Some must be done as a standard band and others can be done with any instrument combination. Need diamond on all challenges.
7.You don't need to do this, but there is also a power challenge where you can use 2 powers. THE STARS FROM THIS DO NOT COUNT!
These challenges are not the same on every song. Some with talky vocal parts have 1 less vocals challenge and an extra band challenge instead.

For anyone wondering if songs without vocals or drums etc work (some only have 36 stars for example), I will also add that it did unlock for me on Black Widow and 2112 Part 3, however, after telling friends it worked they didn't manage to unlock it this way so (unless you want to risk it not unlocking after the work involved), do a song with 42 stars available.

Most of these challenges can only really be done on hard or expert, but for streak challenges or multiplier ones, a lower difficulty is probably recommended.

1 thing you need to do before attempting any challenges is to decide what instrument you are least comfortable on. I, for example am good on guitar, bass and vocals, but fail on drums, therefore i found a song with easy drums (I personally found "Again" easy). Just try and find a song with an easy part for the instrument you can't do very well.

If the instrument you can't do is vocals and you have the World Tour import then "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" is apparently very easy for vocals (and the other instruments) and can then be used as an extra member for the band challenges with the use of a fan or speakers (Many thanks to "Immortal Soull" for that easy song). If you struggle with that then try either, "Bleed it Out" (thanks "xBrushedRedx) or "For Whom The Bell Tolls" if you have the Metallica import (thanks "INTIMIDATOR363").
It would appear that most people are hopeless on vocals so hopefully "Unfcnbleevibl's" easy vocals song list will be of use. Thank him for these:
Mastodon - Blood and Thunder (Metallica Import)
Children of Bodom - Done with Everything, Die for Nothing (GH5 Import)
Children of Bodom - If You Want Peace...Prepare for War (GHWoR)
Beastie Boys - Gratitude (GH5 Import)
Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn (GHWT Import)
Unearth - Grave of Opportunity (Free DLC, Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack)
Chimaira - On Broken Glass (Free DLC, Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack)
    Arch Enemy - Nemesis (GHWoR)
Rush - 2112 Pt 7. The Grand Finale (GHWoR)
    Dethklok - Bloodlines (GHWoR)
Public Enemy featuring Zakk Wylde - Bring the Noise 20xx (GH5 import)
Some of these are definetly tough on guitar and drums etc, but if you are struggling a lot with vocals, then these are definetly worth a try...

The only challenges you can do online are the standard and non-standard band challenges and you need at least 2 instruments active. (That is unless you are playing say guitar online and you complete all challenges for that part, however no-one else will receive any credit for a challenge you completed, therefore all "instrument" challenges MUST be done by yourself)

I think that about covers it, although if i have made any mistakes or you have any further questions then please leave a comment below. I also intend on putting a load of easy songs for each individual instrument when I have time, but in the mean time let me know which instruments you can/can NOT do and I will try and recommend a song if you are still struggling to find one ...

Thanks! It worked on the first try. All the other challenges on "Bleed It Out" are incredibly easy too. It doesn't have any instruments above 3 bars of intensity. I don't know why so many people pick more difficult songs.

This link is live and helped me get this achievement after countless tries. I'm a horrible singer and by now, when the servers is down and you can't download or import any songs anymore, this is the definitive way of getting a 6 star expert rating of the song on vocals!

AnguilleArnalAs a medium guitar/drums player I was able to obtain this solo on the song Bring the noise from Guitar Hero 5. I was not able to get the drums challenges on Gratitude and failed to get the guitar ones on No sleep till Brooklyn so it was a relief to see that Bring the noise worked ! Drums are the hardest but i managed to get 99% and it did the trick (I missed 6 notes, there is room for up to 10 misses or so). Guitar was quite easy and did not require a FC to get diamond for score (I think I missed some taps at the first solo and got 99%). Bass and band challenges were very easy with guitar and one or two micros. Anyway, this achievement is doable even if you're a mediocre GH player :)

There is an incredibly easy way to get this achievement by yourself, but to do it you need the following:

-GH:World Tour Import (No Sleep Till Brooklyn is the song of choice)
-Two mic's (Headset or USB), 1 Guitar and 1 drum set (either RB or GH)
Now, the first step is to set the mics up so they can play the song by themselves, for those unfamilar with the trick commonly used in GH:WT, because the song is all 'talkie' sections, the song can be FC'd on any difficulty by placing the mic near any constant noise making object (e.g. A fan or even the back of your xbox)

Once these mics are set up, start the song as a 3 player band in quickplay+, playing the song with this set-up leads to the completion of two challenges:

-Maintain a 5x Band Multiplier for 54.00 seconds.
-Achieve a certain score (531,000, but this is easily achieved)

The most difficult challenge is the 5x multiplier, but all you need to do is gain star power on your instrument of choice and wait for the mic's to earn some, then pause the game during one of the frequent large pauses in guitar/drum play, resume play on your controller, quickly activate star power on both microphones before swapping attention back to your own instrument, if done correctly you should now be on the 5x multiplier, you may also attempt it during one of the 2 band moments during the song to gain a 7x multiplier but this is slightly more risky on drums.

With the non standard band challenges out of the way, back out to the quickplay+ lobby and remove one of the mics, go back and start up NSTB again, the only band based challenge remaining it to score 530,000 points, and easy feat so long as you conserve star power for the band moments and for the 'more active' ending of the song.

Now the band challenges are out of the way, you can focus on playing the song on each individual instrument, you can simply use the fan trick to complete both vocal challenges, bass should pose little threat to both seasoned players and fairly new players, drums will require you to be on expert, but anyone comfortable on medium should be more than fine with this song on expert. Guitar is definitely the most difficult for the majority of people, but to qualm any fears, the song only rates a 4 out of 10 on the in game difficulty meter, you may have some trouble with the final stars on the score and star power challenges, my only advice for both is to practice the solo, activating star power in the solo is a HUGE boost to both the challenges.

If you need additional help I have added a brief idea of how you should be utilising star power.

Drums, are the easiest to use star power effectively, but might be the hardest to gain depending on your skill, given the repetitive nature of the chart you can pretty much activate it whenever is easiest for you. but i'd recommend doing it on a Yellow or Red/ Kick note combo, as it will be easier to activate without interrupting the rhythm.

    Vocals you should use right at the end of a phrase, because you'll still get max points and you have a better chance of scoring more phrases with it;

Guitar can vary, the only real time i can recommend using it is during the solo, other then that it's your discretion really, if it helps play through the song once beforehand and notice where the three-note chords get paticularly frequent.

Bass is hard to explain, here is the path I used- http://bit.ly/burhkF (if you don't use paths or don't understand just PM me)

And that's pretty much it, if anyone has any suggestions for improvement, anything I can add let me know in the comments =]

BoGcHiKaThank you very much for your in-depth solution!
Just a note, I was able to diamond the high score challenge for drums on Hard. I scored 269,550 with 98% accuracy. I missed a total of 11 notes.

May I also add that "Bleed it out" by Linkin Park is possibly one of the easiest songs. Easily fc'able on guitar and bass, song is mostly talky parts on vocals, and the drums are relatively easy.

Rockin CherryI also used this song. Managed to get somebody to help me with the "hit as many notes as a band" platinum medal and in the end the set up was: 2 expert guitarists, 1 hard guitarist and 1 expert bass all got over 98%.

zNuttyMaybe 100% on hard or a good starpower path and 96% might bag you it, I'm not exactly sure.
