| The intruding boss is Kula, as the achievement picture suggests. To make Kula appear, you must get through stage 1-3 without dying, and then finish the boss off with either a special move or a bomb. I'm going to suggest Kyo for this, purely because he is far superior to all the other characters. If playing on practice difficulty, getting to the boss without dying shouldn't be to difficult, just remember a taunt can clear all the bullets on screen if the background isn't already red, and the bombs are useful, although I suggest keeping at least 2 bombs for the boss, to make sure you don't die against them. As for fighting Kula, she is much more difficult than the 8 regular bosses that appear in stages 1-1 to 1-5. It doesn't matter if you die against Kula, you can continue in the fight. Use bombs and taunts to clear the bullets when she uses the attack where she dashes all over the screen and constantly fire when she summons snowmen. Considering the fact you can continue while fighting her, if you make her appear, this should be easy to get. She will appear after the point totaling after defeating stage 1-3's boss, so don't be alarmed if it leaves the level before she appears. I was not the first to discover this, but I have been asked to not give credit to the person who did, so... |
