Most of this level is not a problem, but the boss fight at the end can be very frustrating for some people. I happened to find a spot to make this a little bit easier for those having trouble.
When you start the boss fight, head to the far left corner, in the direction you're facing. If you climb up on the rocks there, the Annihilator can't hit you, and will crash and fall over, so you can jump down and fire at his belly. You will have to keep an eye out for the lion-like enemies which can still hit you here, but can use those to replenish your health if needed. There's also a health gene pod on the ground at the foot of the rocks, which replenishes over time. |
