This must be done in Ranked Play! Although if players tie, it doesn't count for a win.
There is 9 events in Terror Is Reality, they are: 1. Ramster Ball. 2. Zomboni. 3. Bounty Hunter. 4. Headache. 5. Stand Up Zomedy. 6. Pounds of Flesh. 7. Master Shafter. 8. Ball Buster. 9. Slicecycles.
Over time eventually you might get lucky and just randomly win in these events, but these are the basic tips for getting higher scores in these events.
1. Ramster Ball: In this event a player starts with the "power" and only they can score, if it's not you knock into the lit up player to steal the power. Then the objective it to ram into the bumpers, hitting numerous bumpers in the middle can get you big scores very quickly. Try and hit them in such a way that you bounce off into another bumper.
2. Zomboni: in this event, you want to start off and drive towards the centre and then slightly left to avoid the other players. As In this game hitting other players, it mostly just time consuming. You want to find and open mouth and spray into, and then as it closes quickly head to the next and spray what you have into it. If you focus on filling the bar, you'll waste good point scoring time so try and be quick.
3. Bounty Hunter: In this game accuracy is king, which you will genuinely need to be good at this game. You want to slightly side step to the left or right depending on which gate you're shooting at. This is because if someone else hits the jackpot who isn't you blockers come up. Side stepping allows you to steal get a few kills even with the barriers up. Hitting the jackpot is generally a must to win as other players will focus on it as well. Just be patient with it, fire to quickly and you'll waste your shot, move the cross-hairs subtly and then take the precious shot.
4. Headache: in this game you want to place as many blenders on zombies heads as you can, about nine or so gives you a nice multiplier and leads to a big score when you explode it. If necessary stick the hat remover in a zombie near yours on the way to the button so the zombies you've blendered won't lose their head in the explosion. Then just go for smaller combos till the time is up.
5. Stand Up Zomedy: There is two high scoring methods in this game, that is to put a tutu stick pony and flower hat on your zombie creating a "pretty dress" and get bonus points. Or ruin someone's combo by placing the third item on a two color coding pieced zombie. This game just requires you to be generally faster than the other players.
6. Pounds of Flesh: In this game you need to flick the zombies onto the weight, the best way I find to do this is to head up the left/right side and go about half way into it and flick along towards the panel, and the majority of the zombies will fall in. Moving along towards the other side flicking maybe 2/3 flicks then go and reload the zombies at the button, and repeat the step.
7. Master Shafter: In this event you need to lance zombies falling, you'll get 1,000 points for each skewered zombie, however you get bonus points if you beat other players in the target. A long list of buttons will come up when you enter the fight process, I find the easiest way is to look at the second button and focus on that so you can press them all quicker. I focus on the color of the button rather than the button letter itself.
8. Ball Buster: This is another even which requires accuracy, as you want to at least get the majority of your shots on targets. As wasted shots greatly ruin your chances of winning, and when a lot of zombies spawn at once near the end. The accurate shots will help you create a nice lead over other players.
9. Slicecycles: Of course being in first for this event helps a small bit, but isn't needed for a victory. With the amount of times you play this event as it's always the fourth event you're bound to come first. In other cases when you're driving, at the end of your line pull the brake, turn and speed back in the direction, doing this will allow you to get more bonus zombies. Focus on bonus zombies to get bonus points and get a bonus win!
These are my tips, if you have more or other suggestions feel free to comment and suggest. |

This achievement mostly takes patience and a little luck. There will probably be some events you're better at than others, but by the end you'll probably be pretty good at the majority of them.
I was pretty consistently in 3rd or 4th when I first started and by the time I got this achievement I was placing 1st or 2nd at the end of the "episode" 3/4 of the time.
Unfortunately, some events will show up much more frequently than others. For example, the first event is always Ramsterball or Zamboni and the final event is always Slicycles.
The connections are not stable which means the bad news is that you'll certainly have your connection dropped a few times a night. The good news is that this also means there's a good chance you'll end up with only 2 opponents instead of 3 on a not infrequent basis.
Because of the way these achievements are set up it's almost impossible to boost (you can only earn these achievements in ranked matches). With that in mind here are a few tips:
1) Ramsterball - this seems to be one where I notice lag the most. You can only score if you have the power. I find it's most efficient to try and get ahead of the person with the power rather than try to follow them and hit them from behind. It sometimes takes multiple hits to get the power, I'm not sure why. Then just focus on hitting as many bumpers as possible.
2) Zamboni - the controls for this one are sloppy, which can be frustrating. The single smartest thing you can do is to follow SirSmurfus' suggestion to just keep depositing the blood as often as you can. Basically, just always head for an open mouth. If you wait until you have a full meter you'll just be wasting your time. Also note that you only fill your blood meter when moving forward. Reversing over a zombie will do nothing for you.
3) Bounty Hunter - As SamuraiSquirre1 said, don't worry about the jackpot. I found the best thing to do is just focus your weapon on one entrance and keep firing at the zombies that come out of it. Obviously the bonus zombies are more important than non bonus zombies but I rack up the most points without deviating from that entrance. I don't chase all the bonus zombies and rarely bother to go after any I miss from the entrance I'm focusing on. Since I don't really move my gun I just keep firing even when the wall is up from a jackpot hit by another player. Chances are when the wall comes down my first shot will nail a zombie even without aiming. Since starting that method I've been consistently in the first or second spot for this event.
4) Headache - this depends to some extent on the actions of other players. Generally speaking I just place three hats then go back for more and don't do anything with the dynamite. At 9 hats I hit the button to bank my points. After that I bank somewhere between 3-6 hats. Occasionally you get people who use the dynamite to kill the hatted zombies of other players. In that case you should definitely bank points more often and may or may not want to return the favor of throwing dynamite in the direction of another player to destroy their zombies before they can bank the points.
5) Stand Up Zomedy - I find it easiest to try and place all three items on a set of 4 zombies and just do as many as you can as quick as you can. This is another one when there may be players who try and ruin your combo. That's almost inevitably a losing strategy in that it won't let them win but it will probably make it more difficult for you to win, too. Still, in that case I just concentrate on getting 2 items on that zombie since you'll always get more points for putting an item on a zombie which already has at least one item placed by you.
6) Pounds of Flesh - I charge (hold x) and flick (tap x) when I'm about halfway in. For whatever reason my zombies tend to fly to the left so occasionally some end up on the floor. I tend to do the one charge and flick, then circle around and flick another batch of zombies and then reload (usually before I get the message I should reload).
7) Master Shafter - This was one of my weaker events. I tend not to be great at mashing buttons quickly in sequence but I did find that a strategy that works for me is to let the other players get involved in a button mashing sequence while I stay out of it. While they're occupied I wait for another circle to spawn and go over there and hit x. You'll only get 1000 points (the amount of points you earn is a multiple of the number of players competing for that particular circle). But sometimes it's easier to just keep doing that and rack up points 1000 at a time than to fight others for points, especially if the same person does not win all the button mashing contests. This works best when one player has already been disconnected which happens about 1/4 of the time.
8) Ball Buster - this was my weakest event which was especially frustrating because as far I can tell it's the rarest game to spawn. It also has sluggish controls, which can be frustrating. Unfortunately, for me this pretty much boiled down to luck. I was improving at it toward the end but that's just practice. Aim for center mass, aim for bonus zombies, and if you get jammed it's better to be accurate than fast.
9) Slicycles - this event can determine the winner of an episode and unless the person in first has a substantial lead it usually does. I advise going slowly and aiming for bonus zombies. It will be much faster if you break and turn as you reach the end rather than trying to turn around at speed without breaking. The amount of time it takes to do it that way far outweighs any advantage you get from keeping your momentum. This is another example of accuracy being better than speed. Bonus zombies spawn with about 1;30 left on the clock so I find it helpful to be around the middle of the arena when that happens rather than at one end.
In the end it's all about patience and practice. The game saves your win (and winnings) after every event and you can continue to play an episode if one person (and only one person) has been disconnected. If you're later disconnected your earlier win will still count for the achievement. When I started playing TIR I wasn't particularly good but now that I've finally earned the achievement I'd say I'm pretty good at at least 6 of the events. YMMV. |

This is an achievement guide for boosting. This achievement MUST be done on ranked.
Get four people together and start searching for a ranked match. Once one person is in a lone session everyone else stops and then starts searching again. This is obviously to try and find your boosting partners. Once you are in the session, all ready up and it will start. I suggest you create a list for all of the events and tick them off as everyone is doing them. If player 1 has won an event which comes up again, then player 2 will win it and so on.
The nine events are:
1. Ramster Ball. 2. Zomboni (Zombie Tank) 3. Bounty Hunter. 4. Headache. 5. Stand Up Zomedy. 6. Pounds of Flesh. 7. Master Shafter. 8. Ball Buster. 9. Slicecycles.
From the session I did earlier today, the events work like this:
1st event will either be: Zomboni or Ramsterball
2nd + 3rd events will either be: Pounds of Flesh then Master Shafter Bounty Hunter then Stand up Zomedy Ball Buster then Headache
4th event will always be Slicecycles
If somebody needs Master Shafter then Pounds of Flesh will have to be the 2nd round. These event rotations are unconfirmed but seemed to work for the boosting session I was part of.
When we were doing this session we backed out on slicecycles once everyone had won it, in an attempt to speed up the session.
As a warning this isn't an easy boost as random onliners join and matchmaking on this game is poor. Even though this game is over a year and a half old it still has players, making it sometimes frustrating while searching for your boosting partners. It took us over 3 hours to get this horrid 20G achievement but obviously may take less time. If you are creating a boosting session for this achievement I recommend you give yourself at least 2 hours but it will probably take much longer.
This boosting technique worked for Intengro RYANFU, Slip A Digit In, xZxSephirothxZx and WOOLER89
Good luck, and I hope this helped! |

Ranked play, nearly impossible to boost due to server reasons. Just play with some regular folks, keeping track of what you've won and what you haven't. |
