In boss fight, you'll need to defeat Megan and Pia. On hard it might appear to be tough, but it is quite easy with the proper wanzer configuration.
Just equip the best torso, on both arms put the best shield and on both shoulders the best gatling gun you can afford. Also equip the repair backpack. Don't forget to put skills on both guns and shields.
In the beginning of the fight, just walk backwards and hold LT or RT all the time. Try to line up, so the one with the shotguns that is moving towards you, stays in the line with the one that is shooting rockets. Concentrate your fire power on the one coming towards you. She will also get hit by the rockets if you line up right.
She will get down very fast and now just repeat the procedure on the other. Try to dodge her rockets and don't forget to use the repair backpack. |

This level has a boss fight against two wanzers. If you're like me, you don't have the funds to equip great weapons. I equipped a light shield, a gatling gun and a missile launcher.
One of the bosses shoots grenade salvos and missiles, while the other uses a gatling gun. You want to take out the gatling gun wanzer first, since it is the weakest.
The gatling wanzer is especially susceptible to gunfire, while the grenade-spewing wanzer is more readily damaged by missiles.
My strategy was to camp in the two rooftops of the buildings with health on top of them. These are at opposite corners of the map. Just stay behind a section of the wall on the rooftop as you fire. The grenades will still hit you, but you can last through a couple salvos with the health pack on the roof.
Once you've used the health pack, dash along the right wall (works no matter which rooftop you are on) and go to the other rooftop with the health pickup.
Repeat this until you win. |
