Hope you have a lot of time on your hands! Getting through all 83 songs can take anywhere from six to eight hours, depending on how long your break is between each song. You can pause or fail as much as you want; there is no achievement for blazing through like Rock Band 2's Bladder of Steel. You can play on the instrument and difficulty of your choice. I also recommend choosing the goal itself under Career goals -- it's under Band goals, subcategory "Epic Rock Band 3." This saves the time of building the setlist in Quickplay.

Be aware that once you start playing this marathon, you cannot exit to any other game mode nor turn off your console without losing your progress. You also cannot re-calibrate your TV with the game. However, options such as lefty mode and no-fail are still readily available and you can toggle them as much as you want during the setlist. Trust me, you might need no-fail for songs like Llama or Roundabout. Turning these options on or off does not affect getting the achievement; all you really need to worry about is the ridiculous amount of time it takes to get this achievement. Good luck!

MY METHOD REQUIRES A WIRED TURBO CONTROLLER. I put on no-fail mode by pressing start then going to modifiers and putting a check mark next to no fail mode, Then I went to band goals, subcategory Epic Rock Band 3, and chose endless setlist 3, expert difficulty (don't know if it mattered just wanted to have it completed on expert). Used a wired mic , turned on turbo for the A button, and kept the A button held down all night while I slept, this ensured I would skip to the next song automatically. I just woke up to find out it worked! Took less than 7 hours.

How to do the Turbo Controller method without a Turbo Controller

You will need: A controller with an A button, a stopwatch, patience, and enough money to pay the impending electiricity bill.

It's basically very lazy. You just need to know when to press the A/Green button to move to the next song. You can do what you like for the next handful of hours, but set your stopwatch at the following intervals after every time it goes you press A and reset the stopwatch to the new time. Make sure that No-Fail mode is turned on.

If you are using a normal controller, you will not need to plug a microphone in. As long as No-Fail mode is on.

Here is the entire setlist in this specific order and then how many minutes you have to wait before the results screen comes up:

So you just set your timer and know that when it beeps the song is almost over. I say almost because all I did was take the song's length and round up to the nearest minute. So some songs may end up lasting longer than specified depending on how long the cutscenes take. For instance "I Love Rock N' Roll" is 2:59, so 3 minutes may not bring you to the results screen. You might have to check and wait a minute.

So you can sit and watch TV or something and remember to press A during the ad-break or something.
I mean what exactly could you watch that's 384 minutes long?!

OR

You could actually play through the entire setlist if you want, but that is REALLY tiring. That's what I did, never again I say!

An interesting thing that I discovered when playing the Endless Setlist last night: I was playing by myself on guitar for a bit but then one of my friends joined in playing bass locally about the 50 song mark. We played to the end and he got both the career goal and the achievement! Not sure if it works online but its an easy way to earn it!

This is a lot easier then the previous Endless Setlists' mainly because you don't have to play. Just turn no fail mode on and hit Green every few minutes for 83 songs and you get the achievement. If you wanna playthrough it, it should take around 6-8 hours. But, i just let it run through most of it
