After doing a few Hardcore cups the game starts to turn into a big grind unfortunately. To speed things up you should try what I did.
Make sure you win, or at least place in the top 3 on all events except Eliminator events. When there is an Eliminator event coming ( either a roadkill eliminator or checkpoint eliminator ) just let the time run out and basically don't participate ! The race will end at only 30 seconds and you will be last. You will only get 1 point but if you keep placing yourself in the top 3 on the other events you'll still end up first after 30 events.
There are like 7 or 8 Eliminator events which last around 4 minutes if you place first, they'll only last 30 seconds if you place last. So you win 3 and a half minutes on 1 event this way. At the end this method will save you somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes of time every Cup. There are 8 characters so in total this method will save you about 3 and a half hours for the Hardcore cups alone! Not too shabby right? |
