You DO NOT have to play through the main story line to unlock this achievement. You can get this Achievement through playing free battle with a empty controller as the second player, (see Draconic Lord's Storm Points [SP] solution for the Point Tycoon achievement to learn how to make 7500 to 1100 Storm Points a match). I got this achievement when using that method to get 999999 Storm Points, and I haven't started the story line.
The Achievement popped at 463,107 Storm Points for me, so I believe it to be at 460,000 SP when you get the ability to play as Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru.
Please feel free to correct me only if you have tried this method and it didn't work out for you. |

This achievement is earned for having the following playable characters unlocked through either Story Mode play or accumulating a certain amount of Storm Points (SP):
Orochimaru- 240,000SP
Jiraiya- 440,000SP
Tsunade- 460,000SP
Once these character become unlocked and playable you'll unlock this 5G achievement! |
