In the tutorial you will be thought how to manually trigger the AR mode. (LT while evading)
To unlock this achievement, pick one of the bigger bots like those you see in act 1 and shoot it till il has a little bit of life left. Then trigger AR mode and finish it off. That is how I did it. Keep in mind that after you use AR mode, your suit will overheat so find cover quickly when the timer runs out.
