Easiest way to achieve this is go and speak to Marcell about cooking he will ask you to go and buy an ingredient. Go to the store and buy the required ingredient.
Return to speak to Marcell and you should now have the option to give whatever the item was to him |

To get this, an Non-player Sim must give you a task; you can't just gift an item. You must be friends with that Sim. It's easier to become friends, if you picked the Good Guy Personality.
It triggered for me while speaking to Ruth. Ruth lives in the house on your block, but not next door. She wanted cheese. I left, purchased cheese and returned. Achievement popped. |
