This achievement is for recruiting the max amount of units as possible. To make it easier just do the raid the border villages battle in the English campaign( not sure if the French campaign has it) you need to recruit 20 units which if you just do that mission and only recruit peasents you should have this achievement somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour. Hope this helps
