Find a sweeping citizen of Rome and bump into them to get them to drop their broom. Press B to pick the broom up and get ready to find a guard and smack em on the head with your weapon of mass destruction! Just find a guard and beat em to death. EZ Cheevo!

Simple place to find this is on the right hand side of the bridge going to the vatican. There is some steps down to the river on the right hand side with a man sweeping up, bump into him and press B to pick up the broom.
Then just beat one of the guards up using X |

In Sequence 3 you will come into contact with the courtesans, opening up a line of tasks that you can do with them.
The first one involves tailing a courtesan who is hanging around with a ne-er do well and killing that ne-er do well from a hiding place (a well, if I recall correctly).
The good thing about this quest or task is that it will take you directly to a spot on the map where you are guaranteed to find a person with a broom sweeping.
After being given the task, go to the spot on the map where the courtesan is. It will be inside an outdoor area surrounded by buildings. As you approach the area, don't go through the main entrance (as the courtesan will spot you and the task will be failed) but instead climb up one of the surrounding buildings nearby.
When you climb up, look around. On one of the buildings - located to the left hand side of the main entrance to the outdoor square (if you are looking inside the area) will be a man using a broom to sweep.
Locate this man, climb to his building and grab him. He'll drop his broom which you are then able to pick up. Walk down the stairs and look for a pair of guards that are nearby. Simply wander up to one and belt the crap out of him with the broom until he keels over.
The achievement will pop once you kill him. |

| much easier than everyone says if you bump into someone with a broom pick it up. next wilst holding the broom shoot a guard with your gun you dont have to get the kill WITH the broom just whilst HOLDING it. |

I think near the end of the 3rd or 4th sequence you come into contact with Leonardo.
He has war machines that need to be dealt with etc etc.
You need to find the "Flying Machine 2.0" Quest, first you need to take out the overseer for the plans.
Once this is done and you load to a different location, you start ontop of a church if you look down to your left there should be a guy sweeping, jump down take broom-kill guard- CHIEVO :) |

While on the surface this achievement appears trivial, it actually requires some work. Using the broom is easy; making one appear requires a few hours of building up Rome. Depending upon how you play the game, this either happens automatically (making this easy), or not at all (making this hard).
I tried getting this achievement relatively early in the game, and could not find a sweeper. There are theories that sweepers only show up in the morning, or that they only show up in certain locations. I camped for 24 hours (in game time) in the 2 areas used by Rooster Teeth, and no sweepers appeared there (the sweepers appear as drunks instead). There are theories that you have to be in a district cleared of a Borgia Tower - this is partially true. There are theories that they only appear around hay wagons.
The real trigger for the sweepers is the percent renovation of Rome. Renovation requires clearing the area of its controlling Borgia tower first. So to get the sweepers to appear you need to clear out all the Borgia towers in the Rome district, then renovate all of Rome up to 40 to 50%.
At one point (in the middle of Sequence 4), I had 2 towers left in Rome, and had renovated everything in the other locations except 2 expensive landmarks - no sweepers. I took out the other 2 towers, and upgraded about 5 locations. During this time street scrubbers started to appear - people on their hands and knees washing the streets. The next time I entered the Animus, a sweeper appeared directly in front of me and dropped his broom when I approached (I was notorious at the time).
It's possible that sweepers might appear in districts other than Rome, but at Sequence 4 I don't have access to all of the Borgia towers in those districts, so I can't confirm. |

This is one of the easier achievements to unlock in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
1) Find and pick up a broom (possibly random but I found one lying on the ground just outside the Tunnel Entrance north of the Pantheon)
- Note: If you spot a civilian sweeping you can simply bump into them, push them, etc. to make them drop their broom. [thanks Reborn Insanity!]
2) Find a guard (or guards) and call in an Arrow Storm.
3) Achievement will unlock without you swinging the broom once. |

| I rode my horse along the roads around the Colosseum and found a sweeper across from some guards. It was on the road leading east from the south side of the Colosseum. The sweeper dropped the broom when I galloped up. Pick it up with B and walk across the street to hit the guards or arrow storm, etc. I've seen the same guy respawn during day time, but I'm sure it's hit or miss. |

Probably one of the of the trickier achievements on AC Brotherhood!Basically there are pre determined spots where the sweepers appear,though they will not be there all the time.Try now again and he will be there,then you can attack borgia troops and achievement!Here is the location i found the sweeper at.

Dam.... You guy's might not have noticed, but there is no need to actualy atack with the broom:
Use the pistol to One-Shoot-Kill a guard. It has nothing to do with changing weapon, every main hand to hand weapon has a special atack, the knife is throwing three at once, the normal swords and similar are to shoot with the gun, some long weapons are a rotating atack and some other heavy weapons are to throw them at the enemy.
I was sure that the broom would be a throw, but it is the pistol... Just hold X and kill a guard while holding the broom.
Achievement Unlocked.
Also, the same idea applies if you use the Arrow Storm or the Assassins command... You have the broom dont you?
It is a fluke, but who knows if they ment it to be that way... |
