This part takes place during the second half of Rebirth Island while playing as Hudson, it will be pretty obvious as you and your squad are wearing the suits. This achievement begins when the gas drops and everyone puts on their helmets, up to the part where you are about to enter the facility; you'll make a drop where your squad and self are clear of the gas and you pull off the mask and the achievements should pop there.
Some tips are to mostly hang back some and use the thermal scope to pick off enemies from distance. Generally when you are hit, you lose some health and you regain it.. well this is not the case, your suit/mask will crack from gunfire and the more you are hit, the higher the risk the suit will break - almost like you are given a health bar with no regeneration. If you are still having issues, try it on an easier difficulty.
Now this part is very important: If you are having trouble and your suit does end up breaking, very quickly pause (before it does break and you fall down) > save and quit (since there is no reload last checkpoint). Should be able to resume from main menu at a checkpoint prior to when your suit broke and still obtain the achievement. If you wait for it to restart you at a checkpoint and then save and quit to restart it, it will not count since you need to get through this part alive in a single playthrough. The save and quit method is there to help register the single playthrough.
I want to make a note, this may not happen for everyone but I was pretty damaged at one part and when the time came to take care of the two helicopters my suit was "magically" repaired to a point. Was playing on Normal so not sure if this is intended or a glitch. |

Quite easy to do, The attached video from Experienced Gamers shows the entire level from using the mounted guns to unlocking the achievement.
Call of Duty Black Ops: No Leaks Achievement. Make it through the NOVA 6 gas on Rebirth Island without dying. Hang back as much as possible and avoid any direct fire, if you are hit your face mask will start cracking, if it cracks to much then you will die..

| Additional note/Solution that is not mentioned yet (that I see): This achievement can be unlocked on any difficulty, so complete the game on whatever difficulty you are pursuing, then return to this mission on Recruit. Take your time, strafe corners, pay close attention to how much damage you've received, and you should be golden. |

| What Raaj said is awsome, but i would like to point out that there is another way! Its easier but harder in a way, as it is a speed run. When you get to the point when you are wearing the suits, run as fast as you can to the right of the first area. when you get to the buildings, run through them as fast as you can without shooting anyone or if there is someone in your way knife them. Then in the last area run as fast as you can down the left side, for some reason the faster you do it the less enemys there will be, in the last area there where 3 people and they all where killed by team mates for me. If this doesnt work for you, just try it the normal way but I thought I would just point this out. :) |

| Another helpful tip I'd like to add come when trying to take out the helicopters. Like RaajTM said, hang back and pick your enemies off through the thermal scope. When you get to the part where the helicopters are, grab the missile launcher from off the gorund and then head back into the building you came out of. That way if you are playing through on Veteran difficulty the helicopters won't be able to shoot you. Then you can wait until they circle above you and pop out the building for the quick kills. Hope this helps! |

It's not a hard achievement to obtain, I stayed prone (laying down) for most of it just picking off enemies. You can have breaks but still get this, it's only if your suit breaks.

| Just play on recruit it very simple and its hard for the gas mask to break as if u take a few bullet it will just heal up again. Unless ur an idiot thats standing there it will be pretty easy and simple to do. |
