When you have collected every gear then choose Dolphin Resort (standart) course and set number of laps 1. Depending the gear choose strength ability and grind ability. If you use bike then choose grind ability because bike often contains strength ability itself. This setups work almost with every gear. There is also some gears that doesn't allow you to put any abilities. They may contain some special abilities like infinite dash (The Grazy) or strength, grind and fly ability at the same time (Omnitempus). Now when you have assembled your gear you are ready to race.
Strategy:
Try to get at least excellent start then you get to the first place. (if you fail at the start then restart race) Go short distance and dash again so your opponents don't get front of you. Then jump and get at least A+ rank. (it's better if you get S rank of course) After jump turn right and you see strength shortcut. Use strength ability to get throught. You can also use bowling ball if you don't have strenght ability (for example beginner gear). When you exit the shortcut then choose strength way again and destroy all barriers. (give you more air) After that there is waterfall. Go throught it and jump on the ramp. Then switch grind ability. Go right and gring on the rail. (this gives you air to the next jump and is also faster way) After grind jump at least S rank jump (you also need to time it right. If you jump too earlier then this don't work) on the next ramp and you get top of track. Prepare to jump again on the small ramp (it doesn't matter how good this jump is. Make sure that you jump and thats it) If you jumped succesfully then dolphins will fly you to the end of the straight. Then do quick jump and swim as fast as you can. When you go back to your gear then dash one more time and finnish the race.
Do this with every character (unique gears) and then with all other gears. Remember that Sonic has two unique gears. (normal and chaos emerald)
Note: It may take few times with some gears because your opponents can use weapons against you and if you don't get far enought at the beginning then you opponents may ruin your race. |
