This achievement is awarded for defending the city from enemy attack for five minutes. You will have to kill all initial waves, preferably destroying them before they cross the bridges in order to get the secondary objective for Solution for Second The Best in Apache: Air Assault.

Then you have to blow up the bridges and finally you need to hold the line while enemy waves of armored units and fast attack vehicles (FAV) attack the city. This is the hardest part of the mission and probably of the game. Here are some pointers;

- First you need to clean up all troops that might have made it over the bridges.
- Notice how you have 12 supporting units which are displayed in the top right-hand corner. Try to loose as less as possible up to this point. They will give you a hand in guarding the compound. They cannot take out a heavy armored vehicle but will be able to take out the occasional stray FAV.
- You have to hold out for five minutes. The final waves will be nearly unmanageable. This is however not a problem. Focus on destroying the lead vehicles and the front of the waves. The UAVs coming to your rescue when the timer runs out will take care of the rest.
- Use Hellfire missiles to lock on to the armored vehicles in front of most of the waves. I recommend you empty it in the first missions so it is fully reloaded at this point.
- Don't worry about the side of the town you destroyed the bridges to. Nothing will come from that side!
- Don't fly off in one direction too much. It might be tempting to get that one convoy right over the hill but remember that there is likely another convoy approaching the city at that moment.

After the cut scene with the UAVs you should receive the achievement. The video below by marioluigi128 should give you a good idea where the waves are coming from and explains it better than I could put it in text.

The mission that needs to be completed for the achievement to pop reads: "Defend the Tarzirstan government hall from the enemy attacks". This achievement is campaign related and cannot be missed.
