The problem with Battlefield is that you will never find an evenly matched game where a little creative thinking and marksmanship will turn the tide of battle in your favor. No, Battlefield games only work one way: one team completely destroys the other, so bad that a jury would find in favor of a rape charge. One team has all the control points in conquest and twice as many spawns remaining, has taken all but one of the M-COM stations as rush attackers, or has whittled the attacking team down to single digit spawn numbers as rush defenders.

As such, the open spots are always on the losing team, and this was the problem I kept experiencing trying to find matches to play and win. You can't be afraid to abandon these games the moment you join them, because little short of a miracle is going to save the team. Remember a gamertag or two from the opposing team, leave the game, then join in progress on one of the gamertags you remembered to switch sides. I can personally vouch for this method because every round that I won I had previously joined on the opposite (losing) team.

In addition, notice that the description says win one round, which means Rush is the better bet. There's fewer spawns per team (75 as opposed to 200) and the rounds are generally much shorter than conquest matches. Once the round ends in victory, you can leave and move onto the next map; you do not need to win as both sides to get credit for the achievement. You don't even need to be there at round start; if your team wins before you even spawn, you have still earned a win credit toward the achievement. I left after every round win, and this achievement took me just a few minutes over an hour to get with the minimum amount of effort on my part.

The maps you need for this achievement are:

Vantage Point
Hill 137
Cao Son Temple
Phu Bai Valley
