Shortly after you gain Pummel Weed, you'll go to an area with a cutscene involving a huge army of trolls and an army of elves coming together to fight while you have the task of getting out of there.
When you leave the fight and head to the next area, you'll see another Shadow Troll with the spirit of Rubble inside of him. Follow the colony (or "flock") of bats through the level and, eventually, follow the Shadow Troll down the well.
The fight will begin and you'll find that you cannot use Pummel Weed for this fight. Two of the creatures of light will appear. This is because the Shadow Troll needs to take two hits before it dies.
After you somersault kick the light creatures, run into the light to absorb its power. The Shadow Troll will send his bats to hit you and, if they do, you'll lose your absorbed light, so try not to. You'll also get hit if you move too close to him. Luckily, the ability to hit him is a throw move so you only have to line up the shot and the light will hit him when you pull the trigger. Remember, you have to hit him twice.
After the fight, you'll gain Rubble to play as, as well as gain this achievement. |
